Eric Borsum

Eric Borsum serves as Managing Partner and General Manager of California Operations for PainePR and joined the public relations agency with nearly 20 years experience counseling corporate, government and non-profit entities on strategic planning, issues management and internal/external relations. Eric has supported social marketing and public education campaigns on service and volunteering, sexual violence prevention, maternal and child health, access to health care for children, cancer prevention, performing arts and environmental issues such as air quality, alternative fuels and sustainable business practices. Clients have included the California Department of Public Health, Procter & Gamble, Beckman Coulter, Novartis Opthalmics, Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, The Drucker Institute and CaliforniaVolunteers. Prior to joining PainePR, Eric was senior vice president at Hill & Knowlton where he directed the firm’s corporate social responsibility and social marketing efforts. He also had administrative oversight of U.S. diversity communications specialty and Sacramento public affairs activities. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Eric was a journalist prior to entering the field of public relations. He produces independent films, serves on the marketing committee for the American Cancer Society’s California Division and is a founding board member of the California Colorectal Cancer Coalition.
