The American Cancer Society recently released their colorectal cancer (CRC) data and CRC is expected to be the number one cancer killer of men under 50 and number two cancer killer of women under 50. Help us raise community awareness about the importance of being screened, journey through the inflatable colon to see what docs are looking for during colonoscopies to reduce your chances of being diagnosed with CRC, and share the celebration with our many courageous cancer survivors.
If you would rather not walk or run, but would instead like to volunteer to help put on the event, the event website includes a link for volunteers. The same thing goes for people or organizations wishing to sponsor the event. The cut off day for sponsorship to be added to the race T-shirts is Feb. 16. We hope you will consider joining us!
