March has been officially proclaimed Colorectal Cancer Awareness month for the City of San Francisco! Please join us on Wednesday, March 5th from 6:30-7:30pm as San Francisco’s Mayor Lurie turns City Hall blue in honor of Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.
Mayor Daniel Lurie, Dr. Alan Ashworth, cast members from the 2025 Sundance award winning film “Andre the Idiot,” and more will gather on the steps of San Francisco City Hall on the evening of March 5th for an awareness and remembrance gathering.
Speakers will include representatives from the SF Department of Public Health, UCSF’s Helen Diller Cancer Center, community partners, and cancer survivors. The event will include an appearance by UCSF’s Super Colon – a larger-than-life walk-through display that shows how colon cancer can be detected and prevented. See you there!
Together, we will Light It Up Blue!
Co-sponsored by UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, Colontown, Cheeky Charity, and SF Cancer Action Network (SF-CAN)
