Mary Beth Kropp is a life-long educator serving in public schools for over 32 years prior to moving into consulting in 2016. She specializes in aligning school systems for efficiency and creating conditions that support the whole child. She has her Doctorate from USC in Organizational Change and Leadership, an MA in Educational Administration from CSU, Sacramento, and her BA from CSU, Chico. She is a wife, mother, daughter, and sister, and will never fully grasp the role of widow. Michael is and always will be her beloved husband who passed away from complications from surgery for colorectal cancer in 2021. At the time of his passing, they were married 28 years and have 2 children – Michael Jr. and Alex.
Her path to C4 comes from her passion for patient advocacy and education about CRC. Her husband was first diagnosed at 43. Through his fight, the Kropp Family learned firsthand the power of education, advocacy, and support for CRC patients. Michael’s quest to ensure that we regularly talk about the ‘uncomfortable’ will not be lost. Mary Beth and her boys have worked with national colorectal cancer organizations to raise awareness and coordinates Fight CRC’s Climb for the Cure in California. She believes that we must make talking about bowel habits common to prevent this disease from devasting other families and to break the stigma that so often comes with colorectal cancer. She focuses bringing awareness to younger generations, especially those between the ages of 20-49, where CRC diagnoses are increasing and often caught in late stages.
